Mailbox Support Policy The height requirement is 42 inches to 46 inches from the ground. MAILBOXES MUST BE ON A BREAKAWAY POLE. These can be purchased from the Township for $100.

Irondale Township is not responsible for damages to any items left in the roadway including trash cans, recycling bins, landscaping around mailboxes, large rocks and flower planters, etc.
